Air France and KLM New Unaccompanied Minor Policy
Effective 01 December 2008, unaccompanied children with an age between 5 to less than 12 travelling on AF/KL international flights will be charged the adult fares unless accompanied by a person of 18 age or older at the same time, same flight and same class.  Children aged 12 to 17 are optional to request unaccompanied minor service with an UM surcharge.

Cathay Pacific and Dragonair Offer Senior Citizen discount on Senior Citizens Day
To celebrate the Senior Citizens Day on 16 November 2008, CX and KA will be offering 25% discount on Business and Economy Class tickets to all online destinations for residents of Hong Kong and Macau aged 65 or above.  Tickets must be issued between 07 November and 21 November 2008 for travel from 07 November  to 18 December 2008, 29 December to 21 January 2009 and 02 February to 31 March 2009.

British Airways Launches Mobile Check-in
BA has launched a remote check-in service.  Travellers can log on to www.ba2go.com through Internet-capable mobiles with wireless connectivity to access BA timetable, select seats and check-in individuals, groups and families 24 hours before flights depart.   Customers have the option to collect Boarding pass from airport kiosk or desk, through email or fax.

Valid Visa to Australia in Old Passport Accepted
Passengers may check-in with a valid passport together with an expired passport containing an Australian visa that is still valid.

Consulate General of Brazil advised that only holders of  HKBNO passports do not require visa to enter Brazil.   HKSAR passport holders will need to apply visa.

Cathay Pacific/Dragonair Online Self-printing Boarding Pass
With effect from 03 November 2008, passengers of CX and KA travelling point to point from Hong Kong International Airport can use Online Check-in facility to print own boarding pass at home or in the office on A4 paper. 

- Passenger with check-in baggage can drop it at Self Check-in Bag Drop Counter at least 45 minutes before departure.
- Passenger without check-in baggage can proceed directly through Security and Immigration to Boarding Gate at least 30 minutes prior to departure.
